Cam Newton their future?
Cam Newton has been playing impressively well this year, kind of better than myself and a lot of people expected. I understand they're losing most of their games, but still, they have a decent QB behind the line, so they can keep getting better.

So, what do you think will come of the team starting next season? They wont be making any playoffs this year, but I can see them improving a lot next year.

RE: Cam Newton their future?
I would say with a full off season for Cam, the Panthers will definitely be improved next year. He is an amazing athlete and with some coaching and more time to "learn" the NFL he could be the real deal.

RE: Cam Newton their future?
H's upset with his performance this year. Because they are a lose team, I hear he feel responsible for that. It's hard not to love this kid. Knowing darn well the defense is playing a role in a lot of these loses, he still takes ownership of the situation. If he manages to maintain a drive to become a better, more consistent player, than sure; He's the THE guy here in North Carolina.

DodgyY'all suck for Luck, Cam's about to start flashing.Tongue

RE: Cam Newton their future?
I was a cam newton doubter before this season started. He has really set the bar for rookie quarterbacks going forward. It's really disappointing that the panthers are still losing so many games with some decent qb play this year. I did not realize how weak this team is at other positions as well, and Cam Newton's ability is actually exposing other major shortcomings in this team's roster. Maybe next season they will be able to put something together again.

Cam Newton may be able to pull the Panthers out of their slump. Let's see how he does.

It is not Cam losing these games. It is the defense. For so may years they had a real stout defense and a lackluster offense. But now it is the opposite. They lost Peppers and Morgan, an most of their Dline before Cam got there. If they had their 08 defense with last year's offence... yeah playoffs.. maybe Superbowl.

I think the Panthers will be much improved in the next Season with Cam Newton. Cam Newton is a good quarterback and I think he has the skills and is athletic enough to become a great one. Yes, I do see things going in a much better direction next year.

RE: Cam Newton their future?
I personally do see Cam Newton being a franchise quarterback, and Carolina needs to learn how to finish games as a team and they will be alright. So many of the games where Cam had unbelievable stats, the Panthers came up short. You can't pin that on the Quarterback when he is putting up the numbers that Newton put up in some of those games last year.

I do agree with you. I think the entire team needs to make some improvements and then they can do much better. I also agree that Cam Newton had some great games where the team should have one and to me that is not on him but some of the other members of the team.
