Are the Eagles the Biggest Disappointment of This Season?
In the offseason the Eagles were being called the "dream team" after some big name free agent signings like nnamdi asomugha. At this point the team is struggling both offensively and defensively every single week. While it may still be mathematically possible for them to get a wild card spot, realistically they won't be season any post season games this year. Philadelphia fans are not forgiving and I feel like some coaching staff are going to take the fall. What do you think the Eagles can to do salvage things at this point?

RE: Are the Eagles the Biggest Disappointment of This Season?
The only thing in my mind the Eagles can do to salvage the season is to win, and win often. Philly fans are hardcore and very unforgiving. It is my opinion that all of the off season signings actually hurt them because the chemistry is not there.

RE: Are the Eagles the Biggest Disappointment of This Season?
Yes they are because the Colts are without Manning (if he was there and they were still 0-10 the Eagles wouldn't get headlines). I didn't agree with the dream team thing. I was one of the few people who didn't believe their re-signings and offseason acquisitions were all that phenomenal. It's shocking they are 3-6 but at the same time every week this season seems to be a game of "Who Wants To Win the NFC East?". The Eagles are back in it if they win and NY or Dallas loses this week. Another loss and the calls for Andy Reid's head will grow louder.

RE: Are the Eagles the Biggest Disappointment of This Season?
I don't know if they're the biggest disappointment, but they sure are a major one. The problem, in my opinion, is that they continue to try to buy big-name talent for their team instead of developing their own. Vick and Reid both need to go, in my opinion, and fresh talent needs to be brought in at all positions in the team. It might take a few years to revamp the team, but they need to root out the deadwood and stop rewarding past performance without seeking to lay the foundation for future performance.

RE: Are the Eagles the Biggest Disappointment of This Season?
The Eagles aren't the biggest disappointment but their very close. The overall chemistry of the team is the big disappointment with the Eagles and that starts with the coaching staff. For example, you let go all of your linebackers except 2 and then you have a bunch of rookies who the coaches expect to step in and fill those voids. It didn't quite work out in their favor.

RE: Are the Eagles the Biggest Disappointment of This Season?
Yes they are. They are not doing good at all. I wish they were, but I guess next season will be good. I would have to say that I guess they are not that big of a disappointment, but they are really getting there really. I guess I can take back what I said on my first sentence. I hope that they can get a little better soon, but who knows since Vick is out at the moment. We may never know we just have to wait and see.

Haha, this years "Dream Team" as Vince Young deemed them is having a nightmare of a season. As a former Eagles fan who divorced the team when they signed Michael Vick, I can think of only one word to describe their situation. KARMA

RE: Are the Eagles the Biggest Disappointment of This Season?
I could almost forgive the Eagles for giving Vick a job, although I had hoped that all of the teams would get the idea he was persona non grata. What I couldn't forgive was when the Eagles gave a $50,000 "donation," which was basically used to rehab Vick's image. I was never a Vick or an Eagle fan, but that move ensured that I'd never want to be.

Yes. Before the season began, I thought they had a chance to go to the super bowl.

RE: Are the Eagles the Biggest Disappointment of This Season?
I'd say it's a no brainer really, the Eagles really are struggling a lot more than most people would have expected with their "dream team" signings. If they're aren't the biggest disappointment in 2011 I'd like to know who is.
