Miles Austin could return this week

Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said he anticipates Miles Austin will play Sunday after missing three games with a strained right hamstring, although Jones added that the team would exercise caution with its No. 1 receiver.

"I do, yes," Jones said during his Tuesday appearance on KRLD-FM when asked if he expected Austin to play against the Arizona Cardinals. "But I don't know. I saw him yesterday and he was moving around real well. (Austin) said he could go Sunday, but we'll see how this week goes along.

"We don't want to push that, because we've got a lot of football ahead of us. By the same token, we could use him. We've missed him."

Doesn't matter if he does return, I doubt the Cowboys will make it past the first round of the playoffs, if they even get there. They just have too many issues.

They need him, just so some of the pressure can come off Bryant. He has been seriously missed and they need him now with two games agains the Giants to play.

True, but I don't think he's enough for the Cowboys to go far in the playoffs.

I think Miles Austin returning would make a pretty major impact for the Dallas Cowboys. Not only is he their best wide receiver, but he can also motivate his team to rally up if he does return.

True, but the Giants will push him around and double team him just to prevent him from getting the ball. He is coming off an injury and the Giants know that.
