Adrian Peterson wants to play

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is still not cleared to practice, but he says he hopes to play against Denver this weekend.

He needs to play. He's like the entire Vikings offense.

The Vikes just as well "suck for Luck" at this point. It's been one disappointment after another this season. I've seen better offensive play calling out of high school coaches than what I've witnessed from the Vikings this season.

One such example of their amateur play calling this season occurred against the Raiders (if I recall correctly) when it was fourth and goal on the one yard line and they handed to Percy Harvin on a blast up the middle. Last I checked, the 180 pound Harvin is not a fullback.

However, I certainly admire Peterson's grit and desire to get back out there.
