Brandon Pettigrew fined $25K by league
Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew has been fined $25,000 by the NFL for abusive conduct toward an official in Sunday's game at New Orleans.

Don't mess with the officials. You can hit the other players and get off pretty lightly compared to messing with an official. I just don't think the officials intentionally make a mistake, they are paid pretty good to just officiate a football game, other than that they really don't care who wins.
