Next Year League?

Next Year League?
Out of curiosity, would some people from this community want to form our own fantasy league next year when the season rolls around? I normally play in two leagues for money, but it'd be cool to play in another one for fun with some random people.

If you think this is a good idea we should all get together and let each other know. Just an idea.

RE: Next Year League?
I don't even know how it all works for real. I have an account I think, but I have not done anything on it. I mean can you do it for fun or do you have to bet on your team? We may have to get together and teach each other how it all works first for us newbies lol. I may have ot ask my hubby though cause i know him and his friends back at Dyes AFB use to bet for money and sometimes he would win, but yeah that would be cool I am game haha. I want to do something like that next year, so I will have something more to do. Please let us know how it works more, I may just look it up online and get some information before starting anything.

RE: Next Year League?
It's kind of hard to explain, because each league and it's rules are different. Next year we could start off with an easier version where we only play with offensive players and make the points per action fairly understandable.

You pretty much start off with a draft where you pick your players, generally offensive players. Then they earn points every week depending on how well they do in their games.

An example would be: A running back gets 1 point for every 10 yards rushed. Get's 7 points for every touchdown scored. My running back for this week is Adrian Peterson. He rushed 123 yard and got two touchdowns. My total points from him alone would be 12.3 for the yards + 14 for the TD's. All together he would've gotten me 26.3 points based on those stats. That's just one player on the team.

The team who has the highest score by the end of the weekly football games, wins that match/week in fantasy football.

RE: Next Year League?
I would definitely be interested in joining. Money or free league are both fine with me.

Would this be a PPR or standard league? I personally prefer PPR if possible Big Grin Can have the league hosted at Yahoo or ESPN. Haven't played on CBS in awhile, but both Yahoo and ESPN have great setups IMO.

RE: Next Year League?
Fantasy leagues are really easy. Especially football ones, because you only have to set the line up once a week. I'm down.

RE: Next Year League?
Well that's good. It sounds like from the way it's panning out already, we should have enough people to at least start a small league, which is still just as much fun. I hope you all keep up to date with individual player stats, as this is pure competition for me Wink
