Vikings' Adrian Peterson out vs. Lions
The Minnesota Vikings are without running back Adrian Peterson for a third straight game.

RE: Vikings' Adrian Peterson out vs. Lions
I hope Adrian Peterson can get back on the field soon. So entertaining watching him as a running back. He's definitely one of the best if not the best running back at the moment. Unfortunately none of the NFL teams are having a good rushing season.

RE: Vikings' Adrian Peterson out vs. Lions
He is a great running back, but he has fought injuries since he was at Oklahoma. He just does not seem to stay healthy the entire season.

RE: Vikings' Adrian Peterson out vs. Lions
I think the reason behind that is because he is such an aggressive running back. I've seen him completely run down other defensive players and so he's bound to get injured more than usual. But you're right about how he's been dealing with this since Oklahoma.

RE: Vikings' Adrian Peterson out vs. Lions
Well, if he keeps doing that he will shorten his career because injuries accumulate. I remember one of the best running back I ever saw play was Earl Campbell. He was a tough runner, not as fancy as Peterson, but just a tough runner, and he only made it for six of seven years in the NFL because he started getting hurt all the time. I would like to see Adrain play a long time, I believe he is good enough to break some rushing records if he can just stay healthy.
