Surgery for DeMarco Murray

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray will have surgery on his fractured right ankle Monday and be placed on injured reserve, according to multiple sources.

Murray suffered the injury in the first quarter of Sunday's 37-34 loss to the New York Giants, forcing the rookie running back to end his season with 897 rushing yards.

That is a shame, he was having a good season and may have made a statement for himself as a starter until this.

Anyone hear anything about Murray since this? It would be nice to keep an eye on him for fantasy purposes.

He has a crazy season last year. I hope he can do it again this year.

I know, his health will be key on the offense next year as he makes the job 10x easier for Romo. I just hope if and when he gets healthy , he can stay healthy
