The best running back?
I have been shopping around as of late for a good running back for my team. I'm considering trading for Ray Rice. Who is the best running back for fantasy football so far this year? Also, who do you focus more on for your team your WR's or your RB's?

RE: The best running back?
Ray Rice is a great RB this year. Other strong options are Darren McFadden, Arian Foster, and Matt Forte. In my fantasy league Forte is actually the leading scorer because we are a PPR league. I have always focused on WRs in the past but decided to try running backs this year. So far it has worked but I also have McFadden and Foster as my backs. If you can get two or three all star receivers that could be a great way to go because so many running backs split carries. In addition, several every down backs get pulled in goal line situations in favor of bigger heavy pounding backs. If I were you I would take a look at all of your possible options, their bye weeks, and remaining schedules to see what moves or combination of moves would benefit you the most.

RE: The best running back?
Don't forget about Shady McCoy in Philadelphia. He's shifty, quick, and explosive. Plus, he can catch the ball out of the backfield, which is huge, especially if your league gives points for receptions.

RE: The best running back?
Ray Rice is a great running back for your fantasy team. He is putting up great numbers so far this year. The great thing about Rice is that he has almost as many receiving yards as rushing yards (297 rushing and 242 receiving) and has 2 rushing and 2 receiving touchdowns this season.

RE: The best running back?
Yeah that was exactly what I was thinking. He is a dynamic back that can run the ball and receive it as well. So, do you believe he is worth trading for? I was thinking of trading Aaron Rodgers and Adrian Foster for Tom Brady and Ray Rice. Is that a solid trade?

RE: The best running back?
Arian Foster was raked number one this week on ESPN, with Darren McFadden, Adrian Peterson, and Fred Jackson following. A few others to look at are Chris Johnson, Maurice Jones-Drew and Matthew Ryan. I don't think you can go wrong with Ray Rice, however.
I used to concentrate on running backs, but I've learned that wide receivers can get you just as many fantasy points, so I try to get at least one top running back, and one top wide receiver in the first 2 rounds, and then fill up my team from there. |

RE: The best running back?
Arian Foster is the man. I just wish Forte would have stayed healthy because he was so consistant. I could count on him for a sure 20 points a game.

RE: The best running back?
I always draft Ray Rice, and I ALWAYS have Michael Bush as my backup, whom I should say I never have to draft, he's like a diamond in the rough for me haha
