Aaron Rodgers wins AP award

Aaron Rodgers is the 2011 Male Athlete of the Year chosen by members of The Associated Press after his MVP performance in the Green Bay Packers' Super Bowl victory in February and his stellar play during the team's long unbeaten run this season.

Rodgers received 112 votes out of the 212 ballots submitted from U.S. news organizations that make up the AP's membership.

He does deserve it and he also deserves the MVP this year. It would be good for him. He is a good player and deserves what he gets.

Aww that is great he is a great player and I agree he should get MVP this year as well. The packers are playing some great games. I mean they just lost their first one, but I know that they did great and they will end the whole season with a huge bang. I wish luck to him and the Packers through their whole journey. Wow it is crazy how I use to actually be a fan of this team a long time ago haha.
