Fantasy season end?

Mine ended horribly, but I do not blame my skillz! I blame ESPN. Every year my league used to host our team on Yahoo, but this year they decided to to go to ESPN FF, and I don't like how it laid out and I lost interest.lol.

But in reality my team was really bad due to lack of goo preseason research.

So how did your guy's teams do?

My team was killed when the first week I lost Steven Jackson to injury, then week 2 I lost Jamal Charles for the year, then week 3 I lost Beanie Wells. It just went down hill fast. I started 1-4 and finished 8-8.

I got third place despite losing Matt Forte and Greg Jennings to injury, along with Vincent Jackson pulling a disappearing act on me the second half of the season.

I had a great season, but ended horribly.

First off, this is a money league where 1st, 2nd and 3rd get paid. On top of that, highest scoring (total points) team for the regular season also gets a bonus. I went into the final week with a 17 point lead with the trailing team having MJD who just so happened to score 4 TD's and I ended up losing total points by 1. What are the odds of it coming down to 1 point in a 14 game season? Terrible luck.

I eventually got over that because I made the championship game and was the clear favorite to win it all. Unfortunately my starting QB was Romo and we all know what happened there. A big 0 since he got hurt and there was no need for him to return as the game was pointless since they still need to beat the Giants this week. Ultimately, I ended up losing by 13 points without a QB. Had I have had my QB, I would have steamrolled my opponent. How is that for bad luck?

I went into the playoffs as the #2 seed, but with a team that was falling apart due to injuries. I lost the first round of the playoffs. Still, it was two good years in a row for me after some lean years. I've run a league for 15 years, and it's really competitive, so I felt good.

Our league changed things up this year. First they went up on the money to enter (doubled it) then paid out for for who ever won the season before the playoffs, then paid 1 and 2 in week 16.
