Drew Brees possible MVP over Rodgers?

What's everyone opinion on this? I've been hearing a lot of talk going around that it could be possible that Drew Brees would be picked over Aaron Rodgers this year for the NFL's MVP. I personally think Brees deserves it more than anyone right now. Unfortunately, my opinion may be a little biased.

What's everyone else's opinions on this matter?

He has a chance. However I think Rodgers has played better this season even if Brees has more yards.

At this very moment, I'd say they're about equal. If the Packers and Saints face each other in the playoffs, one of them is going to have to play really well. If that's the case then I give the MVP to whoever wins that game.

I would have to agree, and to be completely honest, I think it will come down to this as far as who gets the MVP between those two players.

As long as both do well in the playoffs, whoever wins the game when the Packers and Saints comes together will be named the MVP.

Not trying to knock Brees since he's been fantastic, but he's had 200 more pass attempts than Rodgers this season. If Rodgers had 200 more pass attempts and maintained his level of efficiency, we're looking at a 6,000 yard season. Yeah, I know that's sort of a crazy "if," but it speaks volume when talking about how efficient Rodgers has been all year. He should still get the MVP over Brees in my opinion.
