Best QB of the 2000's?
Who do you guys think has performed the best out of all the QBs we've seen so far in this millennium? Who, if anyone, do you think we'll see in the future being regarded in a way similar to the way we regard players like Joe Montana or Johnny Unitas now?
My vote would have to go to Peyton Manning. He's led the Colts to nearly a decade's worth of 10+ win seasons, and manages the game sometimes without any help from the coaches when he's under center. He's definitely going to the Hall of Fame, and I think he'll be one of the QBs we'll revere in the future. |

It's gotta be Tom Brady. I think that Brady is the Joe Montana of the 2000's. Aaron Rodgers is going to be the next great quarterback.

Pure quarterback? It's Peyton Manning. he's the best pure quarterback of all time. But you cannot argue with the success of Tom Brady. He is a good quarterback, actually a great quarterback that is in the perfect system for him.

Both Brady and Manning make their respective teams, Manning probably more so than Brady as evident by the Colts' horrible failures this year. I give the edge to Brady by a hair due to the Super Bowls, but I can't overstate how close it is for me.

Should be Manning because he runs the offense, all the coach has to do is sit and look like a genius. But it will be Brady, cause of his record even though Billy Belly is the mastermind behind the Patriots. He should get it coach of the decade award.

RE: Best QB of the 2000's?
I'd probably go with Manning over Brady, who was a Tuck Rule away from being irrelevant. I mean, if the Raiders don't get screwed on that call, we may not even know who Brady is. Drew Bledsoe could have resumed QB duties the following year. And don't overlook Adam Viniatieri and the Pats defense. If Manning had both or either one, he'd have probably won at least one more Super Bowl (2005).
Also, when Brady went out with his knee injury, Matt Cassel stepped in and won 10 game's in New England. Granted, Cassel is better than Curtis Painter and crew, but he's not winning 10 games with this year's Colts club. That said, it's still tough to ignore all Manning's big game failures, especially against the Pats and Chargers. |

When Brady got hurt the Patriots were still good, when Manning got hurt the Colts were the worst team in football. Will be interesting to see what happens when Manning returns next season. |

I'd have to say Tom Brady because of all the success he's had over the past decade. His talent has helped the Patriots win many superbowls.

I would say Manning based on the performance of the Colts this year without him. You can always tell how valuable a player is when they are missing. But Manning had years of struggles in the big games, and he doesn't perform well when the pocket collapses. You have other QB's who are great because of what they can do, like Big Ben who can keep a play alive, and Tom Brady who can go for hundreds of passes without a pick.

Next to Tom Brady, I'd say Tim Tebow. He's the guy who helped the Broncos win against the Steelers Sunday night.
