Andy Reid will return

Eagles chairman Jeffrey Lurie said coach Andy Reid will return for his 14th season in Philadelphia, though he left open the possibility for changes on the coaching staff.

What are everyone's thoughts on his return? I am not surprised that he will return. Do you feel that Andy Reid has some blame in the Eagle's having such a poor season this year?

Of course he'll return. While he hasn't won a Super Bowl, they've been to the big dance, and had several more NFC Championship games. The guy's a winner. You don't fire him for having a bad season. I'd expect them to fix their issues off-season, and compete for their division next season.

There have unfortunately been many holes in Reid's game plans since the day he took over the team. This was a bad season and the comment that you do not fire a coach after 1 bad season, you need to look at the history. Each year we have been going backwards. Super Bowl then NFC championship game then lost in 1st round and this year, no playoffs. Not the direction the team or a "good" coach should be heading. With the overabundance of talent this team has had, there are no excuses.
