Ducks' Darron Thomas signs with agent

Oregon quarterback Darron Thomas is skipping his senior season to enter the NFL draft.

Thomas made the announcement, which caught many by surprise, on Saturday night. He follows Oregon running back LaMichael James, who announced last week that he would skip his final year of eligibility.

I think this was a very bad decision on his part, he is projected to go in the 5th-7th round which means he may not even be drafted. I could see if they won a national championship or something this year. I think he will regret this decision.

Last time I heard, he was doing horrible in the combine. I think this was a HUGE mistake and he will regret this big time. He could have stayed with those quackers and potentially won a championship. D. Thomas probably won't be drafted. But who knows, maybe he already graduated and was in dire need of money. We'll never know the true reasons for declaring early.

He would be a developmental QB at best anyways. Even if he stayed for his senior year.
