Super Bowl sets ratings record again
- For the third consecutive year, the Super Bowl set a record as the most-watched television show in U.S. history.

The Nielsen Co. said Monday that an estimated 111.3 million people watched the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots on Sunday night. That narrowly beat the 111 million who watched Green Bay's win over Pittsburgh last year.

The overnight rating was less than 1 percent shy of the record tied last year.

362,000 viewers in Australia apparently. Which considering it's a working Monday morning (7am kick off in Perth where I am, 10am in the Eastern States) is actually very good. Long way the interest in the NFL continue to grow in Australia and that game can only help in that regard, I know people that I work with who have little interest in the game were talking to me about it, the dropped catches, the final hail mary the lot..

Excellent Madonna? I thought that the Black Eyed Peas were bad. Madonna was just...weird. And what in the heck was Cee Lo Green wearing?

I felt that both Madonna and Black Eyed Peas were bad. I'm not a big fan with either one of them to begin with and I thought that their entertainment wasn't very entertaining at all.

The game itself was very enjoyable. It would have been even better if the Packers were in it. The Super Bowl is always enjoyable to watch no matter what. The Super Bowl is loved by so many and there are always so many parties going on to help celebrate the Super Bowl. I am looking forward to Super Bowl 2013.

I can say I have enjoyed every one that I have watched outside of the two that involved the Steelers; but that just may be my hate for them coming through.
