WHO will take T.O.?

Will he be the same arrogant, locker room team destroyer he used to be? Or will he wise up and be willing to take a lesser role?

I don't know if Owens has been as bad as he's been in prior years. As he's gotten older he's matured. He's not as crazy as he used to be.

I sure as hell hope that's true. Because at his age, there is NO way he'd be playing on any team if he has the same mentality he had in his younger days. He got away with it back then because of his talent and he was one of the three top receivers in the league.

But if he tries that now....oh boy..lol

Thing with Owens is it's hard to say how he adjusts to a role player type role. Some players just can't make that adjustment. He's always been a guy that drops a lot of balls too, but got away with it because he was such a game changer despite that. As a 3rd WR type, you want sure handed guys that will be reliable to make catches generally. I'm not sure he fits that role well.

You have a good point. But as you referred to, he's dropped many during the course of his career. But unlike other receivers that drop often, he has a decent trade off.

The trade off coming is the fact that when he DOES catch the ball, it's nearly impossible for any one DB to bring him down.

Belichick took Ocho. I'm sure if he thought Owens had something left in the tank, he's pick him up for one season. I think T.O. is finished though. He'll probably blame the media. He did it to himself though.

DodgyY'all suck for Luck, Cam's about to start flashing.Tongue

Well as a 3rd WR, you don't get many balls thrown to you in the first place, so you must catch the ones you do get thrown at you. Most of the time you get thrown to because you are wide open as a 3rd WR. Just lots of question marks asking a future Hall of Famer to play this role when he never has before and has shown a massive ego in the past.

I think he should be allowed to play again. He was a good player in his prime and can once again if he wants it bad enough.

RE: Terrell Owens still wants to play in NFL
I hope he finds a way back into the league; but I just don't really see the team that would be willing to do it. I think he still has the talent to be a #2 or #3 option, so the fact that he isn't getting a look is odd. Maybe it has something to do with his last partner in crime (Ochocinco) suddenly dropping off the face of the earth in a complex system.
