Vikings: No interest in Randy Moss
The Minnesota Vikings need wide receivers. Just not Randy Moss.

Given the trouble he caused during his second stint with the team, the disinterest in bringing back one of the most popular players among Vikings fans in franchise history comes as no surprise. But general manager Rick Spielman confirmed Thursday the Vikings "will be moving on" without Moss.

RE: Vikings: No interest in Randy Moss
I'm actually a bit bummed about them not having interest in Randy moss. Sad

Moss clearly stated that he is here for the game, not money.

He stated he will be payed based on performance. Why not give him a shot? We need someone who is a star and can bring some attention to the team and sell some tickets! I think it's a dumb move if they don't at least consider it. Oh well, i guess this is why i'm not the boss.

Im surprised they werent interested. It would have been nice to see him end his career there.

RE: Vikings: No interest in Randy Moss
Yeah, I'm not shocked with this either. He caused a fair deal of friction during his second run with them.

The problem with the Vikings though, is their receiver core is very weak right now. So they DO need somebody. But apparently, they aren't remotely willing to let that "somebody" be Moss

It would be funny if they signed T.O instead, that would be the ultimate dig at him.

^^^True, if TO came to MN to play, and Moss couldn't... that's saying something. But, i think i see MN's point on the matter. They gave him a chance when he was released from the Patriots. He basically turtled up in MN and they traded him to TN. Bad bad way to end the career. Wherever he come back through, he has a lot to prove. Both his new team, and the fans will expect a new man.

RE: Vikings: No interest in Randy Moss
Not surprised at all. The Farve experiment is linked to Moss's second Vikings run. Why would you want to relive any of that again? No way he'll end his career there. Would be a nice thing for storyline purposes though. Not gonna happen.

RE: Vikings: No interest in Randy Moss
lol ok if they went and got Terrell Owens after they declined Moss, if I were Moss I'd be in rage mode over that.

A lot of teams will pass on him and I think a lot of teams will be sorry. He isn't going to be a Pro Bowler but he will definitely contribute significantly.

RE: Vikings: No interest in Randy Moss
I honestly don't blame them for calling it quits with Randy Moss he has caused a lot of trouble and yes the Vikings could use a star receiver but really at what cost. Sometimes you have to shake things up and move on and hopefully it is the right decision for the team, maybe it will give someone else a chance to shine.
