He seems to be a decent running back, although his seasons in Denver were successful mostly because of the awesome offensive line they used to have. The NFL is a "what have you done for me lately" kind of league, so his year off will hurt his chances, but I'm sure if he was willing to work out for a lot of teams he'd find a place somewhere.

Clinton was always trouble for the Cowboys in his prime. I always loved watching the Skins Vs The Cowboys. I think he'd be a decent number two back.

I wouldn't mind if the Pats kicked the tires on him; but the fact that no one at all picked him up last season is a pretty telling sign.
