Redskins place tag on Fred Davis
The Washington Redskins have placed their franchise tag on tight end Fred Davis, who was suspended by the NFL for the last four games of last season for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Im suprised that they didn't just sign him to a deal. Is Cooley still on the books for them as well?

Well, over all Fred davis has most yards in redskins team last year. So I guess it's the right move!
